A Lyman .50 cal, cap gun, but as soon as I can afford it I am going to build a .62 cal fusil du chasse.

Mike

Here are the ML I have in the order I got them.

Cabelas .54, 1:48" Hawkens made by Investarms, extra drop in barrel from GM .45, 1:28" twist.

Pedersoli full stock Pens. in .45, 1:48" twist

Hopkins and Allen Underhammer New version .50, 1:66" twist, 26" length. Extra .45, 1:66" twist barrel 32" lenght.

Pedersoli 12 ga. double barrel shotgun.

Hopkin and Allen Underhammer Old version .50, 1:60" twist 36" Douglas barrel so I'm told.

Forgive me if my memeory is a little off on the twist and length. Too lazy to dig them out of the safe right now.

A .60 smooth bore barrel is on the way for my Hopkin and Allen frame thanks to Fred. :)

TC Hawken caplocks and Flintlock...
Rifles in .45/.50/.54/.58cals with TC & GM barrels;
Flint smoothbores with GM .54/.62cal barrels;

Just about impossible to decide that one is better than another...if I had to force myself I'd have to say the .45cal was the favorite.....well, maybe the .50....actually the .54cal is an excellent caliber....but then the .58cal is a real powerhouse... :( :( :(

32 cherokee, (daughters) 36 southern mount. perc. north star west trade gun .62 cal., late lancaster 45 cal. flint. john armstrong 45 cal. flint. 62 cal. smooth bore american fowler, flint. lyman gpr caplock in 50 cal. lyman deerstalker 54 flint, ( gonna sell ). uberti 1860 colt, uberti remmington 36 cal. flinch

.40 cal smoothbore .50 cal smoothbore, both Tenn style,and a tulle and TRS 1728 Brown Bess. I have a lot of rifle's in both flint and percussion, but I prefer the smoothbore's for the simplicity and versitility :winking:
