Browned the barrel and tang for the Traditions Flint Woodsman I'm building, then found out they shorted me a lock screw.

Sent them an email to see if they can send me one. manure, I was just about ready to put it together.......

If you have two lock screws take the other one to the hardware store. If you only had one take the lock to the hardware store and match the threads and even if the screw head isn't correct you will be able to use the rifle until the correct screw comes in.

Picked up some cleaning supplies. Muzzle Magic and I’m going to try some Hoppes BP cleaner too. Just cuz. Wife was in an antique/junk store and I saw a red can of DuPont black powder, empty of course but I liked it so it will decorate my cleaning shed. :)

they also had a nice beaver pelt for $65 don’t know what I’d do with it but kind of wishing I’d got it.

possible's bag knife sheath and shooting bag!

I have been going through old pictures for a few days digitizing them. Tedious but worth it. I ran across these from July 1988. This fort was built in Pennsylvania to protect the lead mines in the area in 1778. I wonder if they have any lead laying around? I hope this qualifies as "muzzleloading stuff....."

continued carving/filing/sanding on the Ketland stock from MBS so I can seat the barrel properly. Slow process - you need to take your time on this

well, 27-28 May we sponsored the last 2 parts of a 3 part series of courses to become certified muzzleloading instructors.

PathfinderNC has completed all 3 courses and is a great guy to work with and he's the type of guy I'm proud to count as being among my friends.

finished a very basic powder horn and added another coat of true oil to a stock i got to replace the synthetic one on a traditions deer hunter flinter

Yesterday, actually. Put on an old-fashioned Clanger shoot along with a tube target (shoot through the tube and flip up the back!)

The tube was at 15 yards. The others were 25 to 55.

The nice thing about acting as Rangemaster, is no guns to clean when you get home!
