Looks like it needs a little bend tweak “down” on the back end. Maybe it’ll fit then?
I've been looking for a tree branch or a tree that I can make a new ramrod out of,
Also been looking through books and the internet trying to find a specific type of ball mold I've seen in a museum,
It casts 36 balls for the Colt Navy but this put a straight edged knuckle around the ball.
Can't find any reference to it in Google

Seen some old slugs cast for a 36 Navy, haven't been able to find much about them, the little girl at the museum knew nothing about it.
It's a ball for a 36 caliber revolver but the mold cast of knuckle around it.
Just wondering if any of the muzzleloaders here might know anything about it

polished the crowns on the CVA double rifle. fired it 8 times. 4 from each barrel at 65 yards.
90g swiss fffg and the Lee Real 250g. caps are win magnum #11
the flyer on the right was from an under sized REAL. it fell into the bore. too lazy to dump it out, which it probably wouldn't have come out as easy as it went in.
i really think this double 50 has potential. hope as i tweek it i don't deteriorate faster than it improves!

Did some rearranging in the shop which was badly needed. Then started the first steps to making a Buffalo powder horn for my granddaughter. Also worked over the Crazy Crow shooting bag I got her. Gave it a good rub down with Neatsfoot oil to soften it up. Trimmed the strap to the length we measured and added a couple more securing laces. For the price it’s not a bad little bag, certainly better than what I started out with! Getting ready to start smoothing the horn.

I installed my new Parrot Vise and TS Steelworks Ball Base on a bench that sits in the middle of my shop today. I lined the jaws with leather. This will be used for carving and engraving. I can tilt and rotate the vise any which way I like and move around the stock.
Nothing that complex for me deerstalker, just adding a cast guard to factory inletted cva 45 stock for a little shorty I am messing with. It's really just a franken gun of parts for the fun of it!

Franken guns are what keep me busy. i doubt any rifle i ever built would be recognized by any one as being of any school. kindergarten maybe.

Wish I had a shop that one could be put in!I finished up sheath for a knife I did just recently.
Purchased a 32 Cherokee a while back and let a friend have it for his collection. We got around to shooting it today and what a surprise that met us. Neither of us have any experience with such a small rifle, especially the caliber. Found it hard to load with .310 balls for the first 2in but after that things were smooth. It is a kit gun that was done up very well and shot great with 25gr Goex. THANKS to bendback
