Beautifully done.Built myself a new shooting box. The old plastic tackle box I used for years just didn’t suit me anymore.
Woah!!!Storm of last week. where I keep my boat on river Sussex yacht club Shoreham
The Foley Arms in Malvern is also bigger than my house, and I don't live there, either. I'm from the downtrodden spud-bashing Foleys of Erin's Isle, rather than the bloated plutocrats of the lesser English aristocracy, I'm sorry to say. I've been retired eleven years, officially, but just nine in reality. I retired for the first time from the Army in 2000, and subsequently another twice.
I am 64 and still have the 71 harley I bought when I was 20 have rebuilt the engine 5 times and still on the roadIn my head I can still feel the rush of hurling my body into the abyss with reckless abandon but the reality is, I can still feel the aches and pains of hurling my body into the abyss with reckless abandon, lol. The only regrets I really have was not doing a few things I should have done in my 20s. The only reason I regret them is it's so hard to do them now in my 60s (but I am still doing things, lol)View attachment 125506
Ha!! That is a full day's outing for sure!Make and mend day. Took the girls out, wiped the bores, oiled them and checked for rust( none) gave the stocks a coat of wood oil rubbed in.

That picture was in Kauai a couple months ago. We rented that bike for the day and rode to the top of Wyemeha canyon. The bike is a 2021, it only had like 150 miles on it. It was so polished and refined I didn't even feel like I was riding a Harley, lol. This is my daily rider, it's an 07 FLHT, they're gonna bury me with that bike. My first new bike was a 76 XLT Sportster. I was never so glad to be done with a bike as that one. It was just not a good bike! I've owned maybe a dozen bikes, some before and some after but I just clicked with the glide. I've been from Canada to Mexico with this bike.I am 64 and still have the 71 harley I bought when I was 20 have rebuilt the engine 5 times and still on the road
It's awesome when it's all tidied up, right? Sometimes, in the middle of a project I look around and it like destruction from a fight I did not win! And then.......Cleaned up my shop for the next build.View attachment 122991

Pictures?Started layout for a new shooting bag.
Harford County. I am making most (if not all) of my accoutrements also. The bag? My wife bought for me and to be perfectly honest, I don't think I could do better. It's just great but everything else will be all me.Still in the design phase it will be a while until it is finished, had to stop and wait on a ft. megis axe to arrive as it will be incorporated into the bag. The wife is on a cruise with our granddaughter as it is just the lab and me at home thought it would be a good time to start. It will be lined with a period correct material and the main body is elk. I make all my own accountments and bags find it a relaxing job. Also, I have a very difficult time with the computer posting items, perhaps when the bag is done, I can get the girl to help with posting. Where you at in the Line state.
