Happy birthday and many more.
That’s very nice of you, and other kind folk and it’s our 57 years married today and the sun is shining Content to shoot arrows this morning for exercise , I occasionally shoot flint tip arrows but they tear up my target . The locals in Nigeria called bow and arrows “guns” so it’s appropriate to occasionally mention them. Target at 25 yards

What are you using them for ,if you want more I’ll keep some for ya might even have some metal goex cans kicking around .
I make Black Powder and refill the containers. I do mark them as being refills but I have gotten to where my own powder is just as good if not better.

This is from decades in the fireworks business. I didn't start putting black powder in guns until 2019

Ya I just threw over a dozen away myself .
I make powder and need the containers to store it in. I can get HDPE (Recycle code#2) containers, but not in any quantity, all different sizes and tend to be weak, like milk cartons. Most plastic containers you see are clear (usually #1) or polypropylene (#5) which is not antistatic enough.

In addition to Black Powder I also make something called Crimson Powder. About 20% less powerful, but totally noncorrosive, you can use smokeless lubed bullets (no sulfur) and DOT/ATF/DOJ don't consider it to even be a thing.

I'm on a temporary pause because unlike the song it DOES rain in California on occasion, and the humidity is above where I like it.

Also cleaned up 12 ga I got yesterday.

Double Barrel cap lock Damascus Barrels. Pyne on. Lock.

Removed barrel found these proof marks... anyone want to educate me?

Dime will fall in barrel. Nickel is little bigger.
Not sure only seen European proof marks, look for London or Birmingham proof marks google , below are Birmingham proofs around your guns time . Bit hard to see

Happy Anniversary to you and your wife Gordon! January was the same amount of time for me and my bride. sometimes i wonder what our girls did to deserve such a term of misery!

I can't shoot my m/lers right now. Right eye dominate and a cataract in my right eye. I am looking through a white cloud and cannot see the target. I am waiting for my eye surgery date. Then I can get back out to the range and inhale some white smoke.
best wishes sgt. you will be shocked by the vibrant colors!

I can relate to the cataracts. Mine is not as bad as yours yet. Between the cataracts and the eye floaties it is distracting for me.

Been geeking lately because RE Davis hasn't had my preferred locks for sale ...I talked with them and the maker months ago and they assured me they would be available soon ....but none yet ... Ugh ! My buddy contacts me yesterday evening JUST after talking with Log Cabin Shop ( they own the RE Davis line ) on the phone ... My buddy Tommy says " Hey , I got one of those locks you like if you want it ...." .... WOW !!!What timing !! He saved me arse !! So cool !! D@mn kind of him !! So ....today ....I ran over to his place real quick , got the lock and been fitting it to the long N.W. gun ( cherry ,48" brl ) , and my 36" barreled, walnut , N.W. gun ...AND actually got some good work done on them !! SHEEW !! :)
