Hopefully today the 524 grain .54 round nose mold arrives and I get to pour some to check the as-cast diameter..
Welllllā¦in my defenseā¦I never lost the kids. I lost my stuffā¦?!?If that were me, my wife would say I didn't watch them very well then... She has a way of stating the truth in no uncertain terms...
hope you found the plate.
A .4 Gibbs target rifle in need of renovation sold for Ā£2700 last Holts auction I started to make my version with a LH flint and as I bought this big slab of walnut I started on two more. Just getting carried awayCool man, enjoy them. Iām NOT a ā roundball shooter ā never have been except for my first yr with the TC Hawken .50 I & my father & youngest brother all started out with. If I canāt shoot conicals or bullets out of it, I donāt want anything to do with it.
I wish that 35yrs ago when I started muzzleloading that Iād have learned about the Gibbs in .40. Iād have gotten one & would still be shooting it today.
WOW 2700lbs huh thats crazy. Thanks for your rifle pics, its beautiful.A .4 Gibbs target rifle in need of renovation sold for Ā£2700 last Holts auction I started to make my version with a LH flint and as I bought this big slab of walnut I started on two more. Just getting carried away
