pressure is still on here. i took a quick break from working and rang the steel. still living in the tiny house up on the hill and throwing my hawk on my morning walk or ski to the privy. every morning I ski a loop before work.

I get a chill looking at that picture. If it wasn't for that cold front coming here tonight I would be mowing the lawn tomorrow.

A season and a hemisphere makes a lot of difference , I was too busy picking cherries , strawberries , black berries , blue berries and boysenberries for desert at our family Christmas barbeque at the beach to do any ML stuff ..

I decided to hunt before the cold front moved in, it rained all afternoon but the sun came out briefly in the afternoon so I decided to get up in my lock on and hunt until dark. This picture is from the same stand a few days earlier.

Well, I was in the stand for a total of 5 minutes when the sky turned dark and it started raining lightly, I was going to stick it out but the light rain intensified so I got down and went to my shop to dry my TC off.

It is 2 degrees this morning with a stiff breeze, I think I will shelter in place for the day.

I made a neat palm saver with an empty shotgun shell I found at a blind. I threaded two ends of the paracord through the empty primer hole, and tied them off so they couldn't pull back down. The I found a used shot cup, and hot glued it to the bottom, and cut the sides evenly. A quick passs with a torch made the sharp plastic edges nice and soft. The string is the perfect length to go around my hand or wrist while using it.

I was really tired of having marks on my hand every time I would shoot. Before this, I was just using a rag.

I found one of these 2 in balls at Hobby Lobby. A quick pass with the drill and it goes right over the end of my rod. Works great.

Went out into the blizzard to shoot a plastic juice bottle. Thought I would try a .440 round ball and a silk patch. Used some cooking spray for lube. Found that with silk that thin, the ball went down with little resistance. Tossed the bottle out onto the snow/ice... about twenty yards. High winds, -7 degrees F. Fired one shot from the back porch. Bottle mortally wounded and bled out on the snow. It will have to wait for better weather for a proper burial 'cause I am NOT goin' out there!
