Cleaning jag and ball puller wrapped up in some patch material to keep them from rattling around.

parch worm and a few patches and an extra nipple. However with no nipple wrench I dont really know why the latter! Geo. T.

Like Cynthialee, I keep a jag and patchworm in my patchbox. I also keep a bullet puller in there. Unlike her, I do not yet keep any earplugs in there to keep the stuff from rattling. With that great idea in mind, I'm heading to my gunsafe with some spare earplugs right now. Thanks for a great idea, Cyndi. :hatsoff:

Let's see; extra flint, patching material, worm/ ball/1 powder charge(depending on the gun), extra caps(percussion only) and that's about all they can hold.

My "patchbox" shouldn't even have a cavity because it's never been used. Why? Storing "stuff" in the Pbox cavity destroys the balance of the LR... .....Fred

A .58 fullstock flint Hawken I built. .58 and .40 cleaning jags, ball puller and patch worm. All bind in so there is no rattling. The .40 jag screws into the face of the .58 jag for cleaning the flint patent breech powder chamber.

A note telling what load the rifle is currently sighted in for, and the hunting peep sight apture.

My only rifle with a patch box is my GPR. In it you'll find some patches, a jag, a henweigh, and some caps.
