I shoot a T/C Hawken and there's no room in the patch box for anything but a short stack of patches. To tell the truth the patch box seems like an awkward place to carry anything. graybeard

I looked in mine, and there was some dust, a moth, and an IOU from an old hunting buddy. Looked a lot like my wallet. :rotf:

That's because it's not a "patchbox" it's a "cap box". I bet a cap tin will fit. Enjoy, J.D.
Not if it looks like this...

Is that a T/C Hawken Jack? Not like any I've seen. My reply was to the guy who's T/C Hawken box was too small for anything but a stack of patches.

The one you've posted there would likely fit a Snickers bar. Enjoy, J.D.

Nobody knows for sure what you are addressing if you don't quote their post.

Using "nobody" is pretty presumptive of you Jack.

When my post immediately follows someone else's and is in keeping with the flow of conversation, I believe most people know whom I'm addressing.

Just so you'll know next time, if I don't "quote" that's what's going on.

Didn't mean to confuse you Jack. Enjoy, J.D.

My will and testament, "I Hatchet Jack, being of sound mind and broke legs...."

Actually patches, a few percussion caps, one way to loose (.451 for my 50 cal)for emergency use only.. round ball.

In response to several it's a T/C Hawken flintlock so no caps in the patchbox. graybeard

Rat Trapper, Others will. They have been available in a variety of sizes over time....don't know that I would want a cap tin in there anyway.

Graybeard, Still a capbox. The T/C Hawken was designed from the get-go as a percussion gun and flintlock was an afterthought. Likely you could fit a couple flints in there though.

Enjoy, J.D.
