It's 16 miles, one way, to the store for me. I do pass a "Quickie Mart" and a Gas Station on the way, but I can't afford to stop there....fer anything!
Needless to say, when ya live a long way from the store, you try dang hard not to forget anything when you do go.....and that's tough on a old feller with a severe case of CRS.

If I was younger, there's nothing that would stop me from being right up there with WindWalker. Stores or no stores!
I'm as far back as I can get now, and they are moving in all the time.

I'm sick of this near do-good civilization with their Pot Smoking Judges, crying *******, and two bit politicians who are corrupting, and taking away everything we have ever stood up for.....it makes me want to puke!

Russ,Russ didn't mean to get ya rowled up!! I was just tryin to be cute , however I find your statement quite conservative compared to what I would like to type :curse: I've been p*#@$d off(not at the posters, but just seein his name) ever since they mentioned michael moore on the forum. ::Just reminds me(not that I need it) to keep "bitchin" and "VOTEING"!! God knows I've paid my dues :: GOD bless :peace:

Sniper, forgive me. That uncalled for outburst was certainly not at you. Please don't think it was.

I was actually thinking how nice it would be to be 100 miles from all the Mikey's, and Ted Kennedy's.

But then I got to thinking why I wanted to be so far from that scum, and my choice of words was not very nice.

I apologize not only to you, but everyone else who should read that. It was not very nice of me to say something like that. I'm sorry.

Here, this is better:

"cannabis inhaling barristers, weeping alternative lifestyle persons, 25 cent politicians who are dishonest and disenfranchising us from everything we stood up for, it makes me want to up-chuck."

Hey and if ya need anything else, just let me know, anything for a pal.

Regards, sse

Seems I have a "pal" who is rotten to the core! But he sure knows some big words!

Using words like that....my "pal" wouldn't be in politics, would he?

Tell me what you know about "Rape Seeds", real quick now, come on!

Russ (Russky)

Oops, I wasn't accurate. My most sincere apologies.
The canola seed was developed from rapeseed using traditional plant breeding methods. Canola oil is not rapeseed oil. Rapeseed oil is used in some products though....things like peanut butter to prevent the peanut oil separating from the peanut butter.

Do a google search for "canola oil"...that'll bring up more than enough websites to see what rapeseed oil is.

Canola oil is a byproduct of Canadian research into petroleum substitutes durin' WWII. Now you know more'n you ever wanted to about rape and its seeds. :relax:

WJ....I thought I might share a bit of what I did come up with. I'm not so sure about this "rapeseed". :hmm:

Before you read the following article, here is a summary of a few facts regarding Canola Oil:
It is genetically engineered rapeseed.
Canada paid the FDA the sum of $50 million to have rape seed registered and recognized as "safe". (Source: Young Again and others)
Rapeseed is a lubricating oil used by small industry. It has never been meant for human consumption.
It is derived from the mustard family and is considered a toxic and poisonous weed, which when processed, becomes rancid very quickly.
It has been shown to cause lung cancer (Wall Street Journal: 6/7/95)
It is very inexpensive to grow and harvest. Insects won't eat it.
Some typical and possible side effects include loss of vision, disruption of the central nervous system, respiratory illness, anemia, constipation, increased incidence of heart disease and cancer, low birth weights in infants and irritability.
Generally rapeseed has a cumulative effect, taking almost 10 years before symptoms begin to manifest. It has a tendency to inhibit proper metabolism of foods and prohibits normal enzyme function. Canola is a Trans Fatty Acid, which has shown to have a direct link to cancer. These Trans Fatty acids are labeled as hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. Avoid all of them!
According to John Thomas' book, Young Again, 12 years ago in England and Europe, rape seed was fed to cows, pigs and sheep who later went blind and began attacking people. There were no further attacks after the rape seed was eliminated from their diet.
