I will take a small amount of Holy Black with me. I checked with Fed EX and they stated I can ship it to myself at my new address under hazmat and signature required. I was under the impression that you could not do this. Apparently you can.
Good suggestions Fellas. That I-95 is a pain in the butt as to what you can transport. You have to take alternates because of the tunnel restrictions. Even propane is limited to 10 pounds. Maybe I was confused with all the recent talk of shipping stuff on here.
Thats a good question....Why not take it all with you?. If it is 25 pounds and under you can transport it yourself. I believe that is Federal Law. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
Absolutely !Who knows what your moving, also it would be better to just take it with you and stay quiet.
NY limits one to 5 lbs in a personal vehicle, with rules on what it is stored in and where in the vehicle (ie not in a trailer.) Plus it must be placarded. Why not take it all with you?. I can not speak to individual state requirements.
I would put it in my car and transport it myself.
Funny, that's the exact first thoughts that came to mind,. even typed it out then deleted it, thanks for posting what so many are thinking.Wow all I can say is Wow.
Worked with some fellows from NJ. After hearing the hoops they jump through with state laws-and not only firearms laws-I just stay out of there. Which is a shame, as I love the marshes along the Delaware Bay in Salem and Cumberland Counties.I did not know about such regulations about traveling on a move with this substance. That why I put the post out there. I know that some of you do travel with re-enactments and I figured that I could not have come to a better place for information on the subject. I only moved small quantities between Nj & Pa. to go to a club. I appreciate the feedback from all. Some times it ok to say I dont Know...so I asked....
No doubt there is some beautiful areas up north where I live. Its just that the whole shabang has been driven into the ground by those who run things. (Trenton) Time to get out.Worked with some fellows from NJ. After hearing the hoops they jump through with state laws-and not only firearms laws-I just stay out of there. My father used to say the Lord gave you two ears and one mouth. Remember the ratio when you go to use them. Most times it pays to just keep the piehole closed!!
