Pedersoli makes a double barrel flintlock shotgun. I have seen them at several gun shows. You could probably order one from Cherry's who is Pedersoli's U.S. distributor.

:hmm:Really?
I never heard of that model.

Do you know the name? Or maybe do you have any pics?

I only knew the percussion models so far.

mvtc says they are in the proccess of getting one to market

as for peddersoli they say one is in there future to keep in touch.

I highly doubt that they will be even close to the original balance and feel but one can always hope

romeoh,
No I do not know the name of the model. It was at the Pennsylvania Gun Collectors show several years ago. I purchased a Navy Arms Harpers Ferry pistol off the guy and got to check out the shotgun and he told me it was a Pedersoli. It's not the only one I have seen either. These may be special makes as he did have quite a few Navy Arms/Pedersolis that were used in the most recent make of the Alamo. I did checked Pedersoli's web page and it is not on their site.

What happened to the flint double MVT was supposed to be marketing?

Yes, I myself have been wondering.

I still have the only one that the Indians made. They abandoned the project because it is too complicated for their craftsman at this stage.

No Pedersoli do not have one at the moment. I spoke to Pierangelo Pedersoli last weekend about making a double barrel flintlock. He will be working on the project during this year. So, yes it is on the cards.

Christian , out of curiosity, hows that double flinter holding up??

Given her any use in the Afrikaners wildland?

God ..Its just so pretty and the whole holy grail..second shot....

Bessbattlesystem, you won't believe it but I haven't fired it. The sample had double throat cocks at a wrong angle and would not spark. I ordered Swan neck/goose neck cocks that we can bend to fix the angle. Just received the replacement cocks. Might get it to fire soon.

 Thank you!
I wan´t able to come to Nürnberg, though I live in bavaria.
Had to work at the airport - controlling all those gun-crazies coming for the fair... :haha:

:hmm: Looks like I should plan a trip to pedersoli in autumn to take a first look...
My olive oil and bardolino vine stock is running low too.
So, a lot of important reasons for a little trip!

Hi Mike, Yes I have seen some pictures of origionals.

I like the look of the one Christian has, it leaves alot of material on it to allow the owner to personalize it, engraveings, spring bayonet, big fat 1 st mod bess but plate etc...

I also just really like the look of those Queen anne styled locks, and stout stock.

I know, your policing is excellent. I had a Uberti grip in my luggage and 4 knifes. I was called to baggage control and unpacked at Nurnberg airport. I felt safe after that inspection.

I would like to apologize as I earlier said that I had seen a double flint Pedersoli. I talked to the guy who had it for sale yesterday at a gun show. He told me that it was a special make from an a Damascus steel barreled gun. I do remember that it was an eye catcher.
