Pittsburghunter At the end of a hunt in a snow storm this year my 3f swiss prime looked like mud in the pan I was going to brush it out and reprime then decided to try it just to see what would happen,it fired all right. I like 3F swiss for hunting. HEY GO STEELERS :winking: Rocky

I tried 3F for prime in my Type "C" last time out, and it worked every bit as good as 4F (near as I could tell).

Just wondering as right now there is no 4F handy and I want to try my new rifle.

Yes! That's what I use in my .50 cal for both main charge and prime. Works great.

I use 3F a lot in my pan. It works so well that i don't plan on buying any more 4F.
also; I carry a fancy patch knife to impress the other shooters. It is however useful for cutting up my hot dogs to put in "Beanie Weinie" :winking:
