Woods-runner lock alignment

I just received my Kibler Woods-runner kit and started to unbox the components. The lock looked a little odd.
The Cock seems to be cantered off to the right in relation to the frezzen.
What do you think? Is this normal or it be an issue ?

Mine is a little off of perceived center, This doesn’t impact performance in my case.

would rather have the cock leaning that direction than into the stock, but not sure i could get past the visible cant. agree with all above, contact Kibler.

Does the flint hit the frizzen centered? If so, then you are fine. You do not want it to hit the barrel or the side of the frizzen. My Kibler locks are all that way to a greater or lesser extent.

I asked Jim about it and he told me it is on purpose.

Out of curiosity I just checked mine. Of 3 SMR locks all are perfectly centered. On my 2 Woodsrunner locks they are also centered but slightly favoring a lean to the outside, but basically centered.

Here is mine. It is easy to align the flint to strike the frizzen squarely so it is no worry to me,

A slight bend in the cock to help align with the frizzen can be a good thing, but this is way too far.

Maybe not seated flush on the tumbler ? I’d ask Jim, Jim sells and nice tumbler punch that is a handy tool to have.

The Woods Runner uses the same Round Faced lock as my Colonial. I love that lock !
