You guys ever try buying flints from loyalist arms in Nova Scotia ,last time I bought they were 3$ Canadian .Wouldnt that be a deal for you guys and you still have pay for postage .

The dust mention is very important. The fine, invisible particles floating in the air and inhaled, are like tiny razors once in the lungs. Mask up! I've seen photos of people knapping without masks and it makes me cringe.
Agree. While I seldom use it, I have one of the inexpensive HF wet tile saws with a diamond blade. Originally bought it to cut agates for polishing, but it does a great job reshaping flints and no dust. Still have to wear eye protection even though it throws everything away from you. I think they’re still cheaper than a bench grinder and more effective. Safer too.
