Man, I need a day like that!Saturday I got the rare chance of late to go shoot with extended family and friends. I shot my 1851 Navy over 50 times and my 3rd model Colt dragoon about 40 times. They both performed well and I got to use up bunch of oxidized lead balls. When the snow flies I will cast a bunch of bright and shiny new ones. I also got out my Original Smith Carbine and put 50 rounds thru it. I went home black fingered and smelling like
Black Powder fouling. ‘‘Twas truly a wonderful day.

Just heard back from my PM to him, and he’s doing okay…
“Just decided to fade away for awhile to get other stuff done at home and the camp.”
He’ll be back.
I've thought of doing the same thing with mine.Took that annoying little tail off the Jukar rifle. It’s definitely a poor mans SMR .View attachment 350418

Yep. I was very surprised at what a difference it made.Banjoman. that removal gave you a nice sleek clean looking rifle. Good looking gun.
Well I said I’d show some pictures of my pathetic shooting today with my 26” barreled smoothbore ( aka slim) 24 gauge is not a year old yet .was a nice day to shoot the range had kids day so lots of mom and dads and kids enjoying shooting .Our club does this once a year and have a barbecue and make about the kids shooting and having fun.So I shot 25 yards and 50 same load same patch and my shiny new balls .Dont laugh to hard .enjoy By the way I’m Rowling my gun so I shot to the left any suggestions on how to fix that would be appreciated.thanks wobblin Walt .Yep. I was very surprised at what a difference it made.
Got two secondhand £350 each “gunstar “ pcp airguns both unused. Both bsa Scorpio. The 177 target master on the 177 was £240 and the “mount master “ hunting scope, very good £70. Both will put pellets through the same hole a 50 yards, but you need EXACT Diablo pellets for that Max 12 ftlbs without a police permit , that’s fine with meGotta love the new air guns.
And you can still use them for eggs!
