    from me to me

I did the same. My wife and I spent an afternoon in the woods before my lumbar fusion surgery. It was a majestic afternoon. My 32 cal misfired on a loose flint on a monster Boone and Crockett grey squirrel. BUT we had a little campfire by a nice creek and enjoyed some tea and home made biscuits...

    WV 11 Point Buck

Nice hunt and quite the unusual story. If you spend enough time in the woods you will see some crazy stuff. I had a similar experience with my first muzzleloader buck and a great plains rifle many years ago. This buck will be a lifetime memory. PJC

    45 and deer

I have settled on 80gr of FFFG and a patched .440 round ball. My max range is 50-60 yards. I hunt a lot of swamp area and just do not get long range shots. Most of my shots are in the 25-35 yard range. PJC

lets see your squirrels, and rifles

We were out squirrel hunting in November and found these guys sleeping out in the open in BIG BIG trees. They often do that on sunny days in the late fall. The dark or Clear coon bring the best dollars. The ones that show brown or orange in the fur are off color. These would bring pretty good...

lets see your squirrels, and rifles

Top gun is a 40 cal and the bottom is a 32. I skinned the coons out and gave the hides to a butcher friend of mine, whose brother does some trapping. I told him to throw the bag on the scale to see what they weigh. The hides weighed in at 27 pounds. PJC

lets see your squirrels, and rifles

I always wanted one with a really curly stock so this is what I ended up with. It is a nice one built by John Bergmann, 32 cal, 38 inch barrel. Case hardened lock plate to be just a tad different. Couple of simple inlays on the cheek piece.

    aggravating turkeys

I would crop it to get rid of the two behind the tree. This is framable. The only problem would be if you have enough pixels to withstand enlarging the photo. Still a great shot. Congradulations on that!

    aggravating turkeys

That is a great photo. Do you have a high resolution copy of this? or similar shots of this group. The little bit of snow and nice mature hardwood background adds such a nice touch. I dream about a place like this. Pat Cameron
