    I shot my .44 and .36 New Model C&B pistols this weekend, and was having some problems with the nipples retaining the caps I was using Remington #11 caps. I would like to find some replacment nipples that are snug fitting with the caps. Any ideas?

    Not strange, I enjoy cleaning them as well I voluteer to clean my buddys new guns when they get them as well. As for the diswasher, I also dont see much of a point you are better off dropping the parts in a pot of boiling water.

    Period correct 44 Navy

    All Navy's were .36 cal and all Army's were .44 cal. It was not that they were exclusivly used buy only the Army or Navy it was just used as a designation to easily identify the caliber.
