    None of my Cherokees have patch boxes but all of my Senecas do, in fact some of the barrels on the Senecas are stamped "SENECA" and some are not.

    On the other end of the spectrum theres the T/C Cherokee .32 with a 1:30 twist, excellent for maxi-balls but will accommodate RB's nicely.

    rmdye, don't fret I'm a lefty also. Most righty's are somewhat left handed also and don't relize it. Rightys hold a baseball bat in the same righthand over lefthand stance as a lefty would hold a rifle.

    I bought my crockett the same year they were introduced. I purchased the crockett pistol about a month ago. The lock on the pistol is of a differet design but the most notible difference was the finish of the metal work between the two. On my rifle the metal has been polished to a mirror finish...

    Cover that cap!

    I use the little erasers that fit on the end of a pencil. Flatten off the top and they fit snug and keep your cap dry. A package of 5 costs abot .49 cents

    On my birds eye maple wood that I use for single action army grips I confine ammonia (fumes) and my grip panels in a plastic bag for a length of time to achive just the right amount of aged patina I like.

    Who makes a good .32 or .36 percussion rifle?

    The Crokett I have shoots patched RB nicely. For more range the Cherokee can be loaded safley with up to 50 grn.of fff in RB and .32 maxi balls . It also posseses a 1:30 twist rifleing to accurrately shoot these 103grn pills
