    GPR wedge problem

    Take a steel rod and lay it across the underlug and give it a rap to put a little bend in it - try it and then adjust if necessary. Good shootin guns but thier locks suck imo.. :imo:

    I would think twist would be the major player here I think the bbl would stand up to the psi's just fine but maybe someone in here knows more. :imo:

    Pewter like finish on barrel and lock

    Check with Packdog - He finished the 40 Tenn. I have that way looks great.. I think he just cold blued and steel wooled it back, I'm sure there is more to it but he did a bang up job on mine. :thumbsup:

    round flints

    I seem to remember this also... I know mine will work fine with the flint cocked a little too. My opinion is if it works why mess with a good thing.. :imo:

    Flint placement and other??

    Clearance is good all the way around and I seem to have excellent flint life.. Must be doing somthin right or my rifle is just that good the latter I suspect. :o

    How tight do you clamp your flints?? Tight tight or just snug enough to get the job done?? I've been using mine snug enough that I could still twist it a little as I figure as it wears it will be able to find its own best angle of attack - seems to work but always open to advice... ::

    Flint placement and other??

    Do you center your flint in the jaws or line it up with the edges of the frizzen?? If I center my flints in the jaws I have a little hang over on the inboard side and if I line the flint up with the edges of the frizzen it is offset a little in the jaws?? Maybe I just go to a bigger flint...
