    Walker vs. Dragoon

    The dragoons have the loading lever retainer that some walkers had issue with falling and binding the cylinder. The dragoons are lighter as you say so the one hand shooting is more comfortable. I do like the walker because nothing is better for the WOW feeling when shooting revolvers. :grin:

    Douglass .32 load/accuracy question!

    I have a 32 but is a custom gun. It is a 1/66 twist and I use 20 grains of 3f and have excellent results out to 50 yards, If I had better eyes it might be better. 20 grains is plenty to take tree rats--even the fat city ones if need be. :grin:

    I use the one in the link. It works well loading the cylinder in the frame on my 1849s and 58 Remmy if I am too lazy to take it out.     Totally agree with perfect practice makes perfect. I do see the flash on the right side of my vision but it does not bother me. It is over before I know the difference. My deal is the follow through at times but I am always getting better know I will never be perfect. :wink:

    If shooting at the range I typically spread some of my junk out at the table but walk 8-10 feet to the right and shoot from there--far away from the junk pile. If out and about, well the bag (you knew that already) :grin:
