    Drum to Lock fit…

I have an old ML from the mid 1800s. It has what looks like the original drum and has No support.

    .32 load help

What dave951 says. I have a Deerhunter 32 also. I need to swab every 3 shots of accuracy goes south. You might try a different lube. My 32 is the only one of my more than a dz guns I need to swab. I use Bore Butter by the way and when not I use spit patch.

    Unruly CVA Mountain rifle

Problem didn't make sense to me but if he said so, it must have been. Ever once in awhile you run across a particular gun that is really picky for some reason. Glad you got it sorted out though.

    .32 cal flintlock groups

Don't know what groups you are looking at but I have 3-32s and all of them shoot well enough for squirrel. Just takes load workup to see what they like best.

    cabelas 58cal perc hawken

I have one. I bought it used 30 years ago and it was in great shape then and still is now. Has both a 50 and 58 barrel. Mine has something like a 1-60 twist. I ran it up to about 110 gr but my hunting loads were 70 gr for a minie and 80 gr for RB. Shot under 4" at100y so good enough for minute...

I'm stuck and it's stuck in barrel

Yes I guess I do too. I didn't think about the brush unscrewing from the rod so one would pretty much have to turn clockwise.

    Touch hole screw

I converted one many years ago from cap to flint. It is metric, sorry I don't know the size. I couldn't find one (no internet then) so I got a metric bolt and made one from it.

    New Sights for old eyes

I like that sight. I have a Ruger with a white diamond on the sight at it works very well for me.

I'm stuck and it's stuck in barrel

For those that don't know when using a brush, turn it clock wise our counter, it doesn't matter, when you get it down the bore that way the bristles change direction and you can pull it back out without breaking. Kind of common or not so common sense.

    Problems with "Bore Butter"

At least you answered. I don't totally agree but I respect your answer. I don't leave my guns loaded and don't use lube in the bore after cleaning.
