My Investarms is a .54 cal with a 1/66 twist It likes a .535 ball with a .015 lubed patch. I can usually find these shooting supplies at my local Sportsman Warehouse.

The papers came with the guns of the west paper cartridge maker

Worked on some paper cartridges

This is my setup, I’ve used both .005 brass sheets and soda cans both worked well. I’ve used prime all and paper roll caps

The company that sells prim all also sells cap makers in #10 & #11. I purchased the #10 cap maker and prime all. It worked great in my 1851 Colt Navy replica. My next test would be to see how well it will work with paper cartridges.

You did a great job! I would say it’s ready for the range. It sure will turn heads!

Spent some time at the range Sunday, working on 100yds

I use to use spit patches, the patches were precut and I would pop one in my mouth then stuffed it down along with the ball. I got ahold of a different brand of patches and they tasted awful, I now use pre lubed patches. 😝
