    What in the underlug?

You could drill the piece and plug weld it via mig if you have it running hard wire.

    What in the underlug?

Not sure what you have to work with, but it could be tigged on pretty easily and silver solder will work well too.

I've done this before with good results.

UPS has outdone itself. I'm actually impressed by how massive of a failure this is, even Kiblers famous crates are no match! INSURE YOUR STUFF FOLKS!

I live in a small community of 600ish people. My ups guy is awesome. He tells me about all the little niche suppliers that he delivers from. He knows exactly what is delivered to me and will call me if I have a high value item and work out where to leave it. My local post office is nearly as...

    Advice on Swiss powder

I recently bought another 10# of swiss as it simply does the best for me in everything I have tried it in. It burns clean and produces more buck for the bang. If you're close to the spokane area, I'll give you a bit to try for yourself.

Hard cast, wide flat nose bullets?

The hardest part will be getting the bullet to slug up in the bore if it's too hard.

Hard cast, wide flat nose bullets?

I've sent a 495gr no excuses soft lead lengthwise through a mule deer at 175yds. I've done the same with a .452 hardcast from 45lc.

    Maui axis deer hunt

Let me help with your actual questions.....long time flier to alaska here. If you can get the meat frozen....carry on anything that barely bumps you over the 50 pounds.....unless you're going to need an extra bag checked, if so....take advantage of the excess baggage fee and load one box/bag as...

    Set trigger spring project

Brass and steel play well with each other. If you ever wonder about reactions, you can look at a metal nobility chart. It will show cathodic and anodic metals. The farter apart they are, the worse the reactions are.

    Scope mount hole fix

The nipple has a pressure loss. OP, Do some google searching on thread fit classes. I would be fine with a 3 to a heavy 2......1, no way. Manufacturers know what a nipple has to do and choose materials accordingly. Threading a #6 screw can be a trick and some are butter soft. Back to "no easy...

    Scope mount hole fix

I'm a custom riflesmith. There's no way to answer this over the net others than to say pass. The problem is that thread purchase is dependent upon the hole diameter and thread pitch diameter. The amount of thread engagement goes away quick on those #6-48's. If you had a class 3 thread...

    Period correct rangefinder

How about we put a 12" gong up anywhere from the muzzle to 500 yards. I'm willing to bet money I'm on it before 99% of the people can even get close. My wedge is quite proven. My friend has the same rifle set up differently. He asked about the wedge. He ranged a coffee can sized rock at 290...

A Question for You Idaho Boys

If there was anyone who would know it would have been NW Pony Express. Sadly they evaporated in the covid era. https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2006/dec/23/northwest-pony-express-had-its-start-in-california/
