I would buy it. FYI. I found a bore scope on Amazon for $20. Has a light and the camera works and you can inspect a bore fairly well all the way down. Goes down a .40 caliber bore.

When I shoot iron sights I take the prescription glasses off and use plain shooting glasses. I focus on the sights and shoot at a very blurred target. When testing loads or working up a load I use a sight that is not mentionable here. Then I switch back to the iron sights when I am done.

Buy the left hand Lyman that is in the classifieds now. I have a couple of the TC Hawkens. I think the Lyman is a better rifle across the board.
