    The barrel had made in Italy for Charels Daly on it .It comes with posiables bag with all the supplies(powder measure ,brass flask,short starter ect...)and a leather gun sleve for $150.00.

    Cabin fever is already setting in.Going to be shooting against a few guys from work with are Scoped T/C's at 100 yards using PRB,shooting three groups of five shots for the smallest group wins.We all agreed not to swab the barrel after each shot only between groups.Need to know whats the best...

    Well if its that easy to take off ill give it a try :hatsoff: use the stuff at work and have to grind it off.Could use bases for round barrel then ?,because the JB weld would fill in.

    Dixie ,Thanks for the neat tip may work for some other project Im doing with a rebarreling job on a Cherokee rifle . Papa its a 15/16 barrel,do they scuff the barrel up real bad? Huntin Dawg was thinking on resting the rifle at the major stress point ( at the wedge pin).

    Im going to start at 30grs. and crono my progress thats why I was wondering about the safe F.P.S..By what Roundball was saying I can go down to 30 grs.,and I know because of barrel length Ill get a higher f.p.s. reading .Thanks for the heads up anyways :thumbsup:

    The barrel is 15/16 ,Roundball, and thanks for all the data ,it well give me a good starting point.Im not going to expect to much until the barrels broken in (50 to 100 rounds?). Thanks Stoat Im going to try and find some .400 RB's ,sounds like it might be the way to go to get the best accuracy...
