    Nipples for Renegade

What would be a good nipple for a Renegade? From the information I've gathered on this site 1/4X28 is the correct size. Are the Ampco bronze any good or should I go with steel. You have to forgive all the newbie questions, but I have one more, what supplier would be best to work with on nipples...

    Navy Arms Pistol

The ad read that it was a single shot. I'm assuming it's like a trapper's pistol. Everything on Navy's site are revolvers. Does this sound right. I mean about it being a trapper type?

    Navy Arms Pistol

Did Navy Arms ever make a muzzleloader pistol? They don't list one on their site. There's someone who is selling one they claim to be a Navy Arms that has never been fire, for a $100.00 is this a good deal?

    Length of pull?

How do you measure one's length of trigger pull. I think that's what it's called.

I just picked up a couple muzzleloaders, I want to redo. Can someone recommend what tools I will need for this and what I should have for repairs. This is my first venture in this new hobby and I want to make sure I start off right. I'll be rebluing, cleaning, refinishing the stocks, cleaning...

    .40 cal. Kit

I'm thinking about getting a .40 cal. Poorboy kit gun. My woodworking skills aren't the best(that's why I'm an electrician),so I'm looking for a kit that's good for a beginner. Something where my limited skills won't scare me off or make it a bad experience. Any recommendations?

    T/C Renegade Hammer

Just picked up a Renegade with double triggers for $100.00. Needs some cleaning. There's a V shape notch cut in the part of the hammer that strikes the cap is this normal? And if so what's the purpose.

    Deal or No Deal?

I put the T/C Renegade on lay away got it for $100.00. The Lyman had a crack in the stock, so I was alittle leary of it. There is some rust on the T/C and in the tip of the barrel, but for the money I think I'm still making out pretty good. On the end of the hammer which hits the cap there is a...

    Deal or No Deal?

I went back and checked the T/C Renegade again and it has double triggers on it. Is this normal or were they installed after market?

    Deal or No Deal?

I came across a Lyman Deerstalker for $89.00. The nipple was a little corroded, but other than that no apparent defects. Barrel and stock showed no signs of damage other than some rust on the barrel, around the screwholes for the scope mount I guessing that's what they're for. The ramrod was...

    Used Muzzleloader?

I'm thinking about going to some pawn shops and check out some Percussion Rifles. What should I be looking for as far as wear and tear? what should I stay away from as far as damage?

    Help

Hi, I'm interested in getting my first muzzleloader, but have many questions. What's a good caliber to start with, barrel length, flint or percussion? I'm leaning towards the TVM poorboy southern.
