The hammer face is mauled as well. Since it was your dad’s I would try and fit a new arbor to the frame for the purpose of assembling it and displaying it. I have a box for one around here somewhere, I’ll see if I can find it for you.I think the arbor was weakened by the drilling and certainly when I was unscrewing it. Before I started it appeared to be straight with the cylinder lining up well. I am pretty sure the receiver is true. If that is the case, would a new arbor and jb work if the arbor was installed square to the receiver? It's not a gun I would ever sell. It was my dads from when he bought it new in the 60's
I’ve never been terribly impressed with the fitting and finish of the Centaure revolvers and making this one into a shooter would be a challenge.
