Sorry about no squirrels. I’m surprised you saw any in the wind!
Funny thing is, I was leaning up against a smaller one beside it trying to get a shot at a squirrel. It too, has some unique characteristics. I didn’t even notice them for about 10 minutes or so.

No one can ever convince me that the big guy upstairs doesn’t do good work.

That is on a steep hillside (imagine that, ole ETipp being on such) and it appears that, that large boulder had rolled down the hill at some point and what you were looking at used to be the bottom side. At least that’s what I’m thinking. I suppose it could have broken off from another chunk up higher and that was in the center of them.
