Nit Wit,

dont curse me......for those that dont know I ahve the dubious honor of somehow squeezing four (4) balls down a barrel at one time....in my defense I was brandnew to black p[owder and was surround3ed by a few shooters who probably had a combined total os 200 years plus experience....but I was with NITWIT...need I say more?

That's a really nice .32 squirrel rifle. I love a .32 caliber for hunting small game. Guess that's why I have two of them.

That is one very sweet looking rifle indeed! The sort of thing that gives pleasure simply in owning it. (Very nice job, Mr. Knight, and a good buy, Mr. Bryon).

 Hi Bryon, I still have the Dixie Poor Boy you sold me last year. I bought an L&R percussion lock for her and am waiting for DGW to send me a drum and bolster, just ordered a new L&R flintlock as well, may as well have the best of the best! BTW, NICE PIECE!

For what it's worth my name is Tom Knight (gunmaker) my kids gun--only now the youngest is 28 so off to a new home she went. Oregon quilted maple, hand cut PB by myself. ...Tom

What is quilted maple?

Just another type of maple, the stripes can cross each other in a pattern that looks sorta quilted, it's mostly on underside of the forearm on that rifle.
