Well, as usual I'm late to the dance. I was just reading this thread and laughed when you stated the cat you shot with the Navy was a mountain lion. Besides the fact that he was suffering, this is just awesome to me on several different levels. You made the correct decision and then did what had to be done. My hat is off to you.
