First off, it’s hard for me to respond to a fella like you that Posts your Patched Roundball Data/Chart for reference in a Long Range
BULLET Thread, That right there shows just how little you actually know about Muzzleloading, ANYONE that knows much about Muzzleloading Knows that a Patched Roundball FALLS out of the Sky rather Quickly, A Bullet on the other hand keeps Chugging along
My “About 1400 Fps” answer is for this
500 yard Renegade thread, as i have
NOT Chronographed this particular load, But as much as i do this stuff i can say 1400 Fps is gonna be really Close. As for my
1,200 Yard Load, My 610 Grain Bullet is traveling
1,350 Fps, Powder charge is
100 Grains by WEIGHT of Swiss 2F Powder, I have Chronographed this Load. As for the BC of the Bullet, I don’t know? Nor do i care. The 610 Grain Bullet is .500 Diameter, and measures 1.320 Long.
What would you say to these Guy’s, using Similar Bullets to mine (They are shooting .45s, Mine is a .50) They are using Blackpowder, and Peep sights, They are shooting
1 Mile here, That is
1,760 Yards. This Shoot is called the ”Wasserburger Mile” it can easily be found with a Simple internet Search
