Are Pedersoli revolvers worth the higher prices? Anybody have one?

Something's off there; another whole thousand just because of the mfgr.? Maybe the Aussie distributor is making a fast dollar there!

Yes, the Aussie Pedersoli distributor has a high-profit objective to be sure. And the size of the market down here is smaller than the USA and there isn’t as much competition. However even private sales of second-hand Pedersoli revolvers command high prices.

This is like when I bought a totally worked S&W K38 Target Masterpiece. I shot the same 2" ish groups at 25 yards as I can with any of my other .38's. I don't have the time to shoot 2000 rounds per month to shoot one holers with the King of Bullseye Revolvers

I shoot a lot , but it's not "serious shooting " , it's throwing in a big dip ,getting wired on coffee and loading up pair of brassers, and popping paper bad guys for an afternoon

Revolvers made decades ago are better than the sharp cornered, easily breakable, chewing gum soft, junk being produced today.

P.S. The biggest piece of BP manure I ever bought had Pedersoli on the barrel.

I really prefer ringing steel to punching paper. sectionals comming up so I suppose i will have to punch some paper.... but heck I really like ringing steel. when i ding those suckers with my .50 cal pistol they really dance.. Speaking of which I do wish someone made a readily available .50 cal Dragoon

I was shooting two Pietta .44 Brassers today with 1F , since I have a lot of it.

I decided to bench them at 25 yards , I saw this 4 shot group with 2 flyers.

I loaded up again, really focusing on my fundamentals and shot a 6 shot ragged hole. I did this a few times.

Apparently whatever the spout of a T/C U-View flask holds of 1F, a wool wad and a .454 ball are what these guns like.

Both guns love 1F, and can apparently shoot repeatable tight groups.

What will a Pedersoli really offer a guy like me if Pietta cheapies can cut the X ring out ?
