My dad's picked up an Ardesa Spain .54. I'v never really heard of this company. Have any of you and what can you tell about them.

The Ardesa S.A. makes all of CVA, Remington, etc. ML rifles.
Not top quality products, but very accurate, reliable guns. Mine (Tracker) is shoot MOA groups @100 meter.

once ya get past the made in Spain part, you'll find it a well balanced well made very fine shooting rifle...I love them, just flat out love them...and I got that way by buying them cheap and shooting them lots and now I've opened an unwanted home for them..if you find yourself not wanted yours I'll take it in out of the kindness of me 'eart

Ardesa is also popular in Europe and even sells some guns there marked "Traditions".

Here's their English website: http://www.ardesa.com/avancarga/eng/home.htm

I'm impressed by the Swiss made barrel on their competition underhammer pistol:

I thought they might be traditions.

Would the Traditions ones say Traditions or Ardesa on them??

:v

My wifes recently purchased Traditions Kentucky Pistol says "Traditions" on it. It also says "Made in Spain" and "Old Saybrook, CT. USA".

'SnappinCaps'
'.45 Cal. Kentucky Percussion'
"Let's go pop some more caps!"

Here is a photo of my .54 Ardesa Woodsman with a 12 gauge drop in barrel to be used as a shotgun or .69 rondball shooter! :)

I don't know if anyone is selling it in the U.S., but I see it sold at this very reputable German distributor. Anyone can import one if they can find an outfit to send them one.

Here's a few more that they offer: http://www.hege-arms.com/hege_upload/hege_upload/Underhammer.html

Their email address is: [email protected]

Or you can try one of the other Ardesa distributors listed on their website:
