My pedersoli Pennsylvania .45, that I bought late december or early january, now has a bulge about 6" from the muzzle.
I guess I could use it to make pistols or something.
This just completely ruins my day.
I've never used more than 60 grains. A bit less actually, say maybe 59 grains. I've only used one pillow ticking patch that I lubed ala Dutch Schoultz methodology at 8:1. It wasn't that hard to push down, so it couldn't have been that tight.
It went right over the target, so I'm guessing that was the best seal I've had.
I'm at a loss to explain why it failed. :idunno:
