I don’t know the date of this photo, but it’s the best one I’ve come across that shows their affinity for Trade Gun dragon side plates. Certainly would be a neat necklace to have.

That's a thumbnail on YouTube.

Looks like a clay trade pipe too.

The more you learn about the blackfeet, the more you realize what a bunch of bad ***** they were.

The lakota got most of the press, but the blackfeet were just as tough, if not more so.

How many of youse have stopped at fishing bridge in jellystone np?

Osborne Russels' journal of a trapper tells about being jumped there by the blackfeet.

After being stuck with arrows they were able to make to ft. Hall and heal up....by the hair of their chinny chin chin.

I googled Lacota war chants once and its pretty Erie, no clue about how he got the side plates but them chants are not to be listened to before bedtime!
I have Manitoba Swampy Cree in my heritage and also googled chants from split lake, Manitoba where my ancestors come from. They are very erie for sure. I'm proud to be Metis.
