I will put forth all my great influence! But I feel it important to point out that I have not yet received the personally signed photograph of said Miss Johansson I requested some years ago! I had indicated that I prefered a slightly risque photo if possible. I'm fairly certain that my heartfelt, handwritten desire remains unseen on a crowded, busy desk!
Oh ... she's just bit busy right now....soon come

What’s a good group size at45yards any how with a smooth bore free hand .
If I can keep them all on a paper plate at 50 yards I'm happy , minute of deer ... Best ive ever shot was 6" group and was tickled with that . Ive never grouped one of my trade guns past 50 yards. , or have forgotten , no surprise these days , LOL ....but ive hit steel targets at 75 and 100 yards. with regularity . I seriously doubt I can do that now though with my cr@ppy eye sight .

What powder charge would you use in 20 gauge for round ball at 50 yards for deer.

Well, I must admit, my nephew shot first, three inches from center, a bit low and to the left. My shot, offhand again, went almost perfectly into his first shot. My next four shots I was bracing against a slim, decorative maple. Was doing pretty good until the one shot went a bit off course! Lovely gun, so fun to shoot with only 40 grains of FFFg!!

Thats great to hear ! Makes me happy :)

I shoot 60-65 gr. for everything . And that 300 gr. ball hits like the hammer of Thor . Ive killed a lot of deer with trade guns
Do you think a 28 gauge With around 50 grains could take a deer at 50 yards ,would it have enough power to do the job.

One more dumb question what size of pie plate .
LOL ...I just use paper plate ...el cheapo ones staple to something . They are actually great size for 50 yard targets , minute of deer targets . What ever range you put them at and can keep your shots on it , your good to that range .
