I had a rib put on a shotgun over 40 years ago. The smith used epoxy. It’s still stuck tight.

I put an underrib on an ml barrel once by prepping the rib and the barrel with solder. Then I clamped it in place and put it in a gas bbq on high for an hour. Once it cooled it was a "well done" bbq rib. Still holding tight 20 years later.

Hey, solanco, do you think the Quarryville show will be cancelled or moved concerning the nor'easter they're forecasting for this Saturday?
I personally doubt it. Fri PM thru Sat AM most predictions in the 2 to 8 inch range. Likely more than half the vehicles at the show are 4WD trucks and half the remainder are 4WD. Jeeps Subarus Suburbans and the like. If you have been there before, you will recall the attendees are mostly a hearty breed.

Temps will not rise above freezing before Monday however.

Thanks. I won't make it, always hate when weather makes me miss a nice show!
