jb bore compound kicks butt, great stuff. i started using a 50-50 mix of kroil and hoppes #9 in my service rifles with great results. between the two treatments my bores sparkle. i have cleaned my front stuffers with the jb and it really polishes the bore. kroil is the best penetrating oil made, bar none. even better than pb blaster. of course opinions may vary.

ZONIE, read the ingredients label on the side of the Coke can. You can acually use the coke to clean fine light rust.

I don't know, but you should use the Caffeine free as the regular may make the shots too jittery. Beware Jolt! Cola!!

Coke is scary stuff as you will find out if you try to clean things with it. On many small metal items it is a lot better than whatever the stores try to sell you as a cleaner. The only problem is that you have to rinse everything well afterwards because of all the sugar.

I sometimes use Coke to clean airgun pellets - works a treat.

I have used Coke many times in the past to pour on corrosion on battery posts and it quickly cleans and neutralizes that stuff also. Never thought of using it for rust.
