Roundball

MS is the brand name. I picked it up at Bass Pro Shop last year. It's simply a bellows type call that lets you imitate barks, chatters, etc. Also has a reed to let you blow a distress call. The only thing I have called up with the distress call so far has been a doe.

I've tried a lot of different squirrel calls but never had much luck with them. I like to let the squirrels do the talkin an then sneak in on em.

The metal squrrel distress whistle I mentioned instructs one to shake a small sapling and make a ruckus and use the whistle to make it seem like a squirrel is under attack from a hawk or other bird of prey. It worked as intended at least once for me by getting the attention and reaction from a nearby squirrel. When things are going slow anything is worth giving a try. (I think it's called the Mr. Squirrel Distress Whistle, but I really like the Olt bellows the best :front:)
