Yep, for the guys capable of making them perform to their potential, they really are incredible. To those that can’t, should stick to the bigger calibers.
Back when the .45 1:18 Gibbs ruled the long range bench rest competitive muzzleloading world, the only gun to outshine them was when Gibbs made the .40 1:16. To “ dethrone “ the .45 1:18 in long range target shooting was a very big deal.
