I was wondering what supplier of muzzleloading guns/accessories are favorites of folks on this forum.
I have dealt with Midsouth Shooters Supply with good results. My only problem is their $40 minimum order on line.
My favorite by far is Track Of The Wolf. They always have what I need and have no minimum order like some companies do. If all I need is a cleaning jag then that's all I order.
Are there any other really good suppliers of muzzleloading stuff out there that go above and beyond the call of duty?

I buy a lot of stuff from "October Country", they are real nice folks to do buisness with and also make the best range rods I have ever used.
They make a lot of leather possible bags and if you look around the net you will find other sites offering the OC bags for sale. I say, buy from the source.
I also buy from TOW a lot.
Have used both Midsouth (min order stinks)
And also D&R Sports Center. D&R has limited ML selections but they have the best prices I've found on Lyman GPR and other rifles.
I never buy one item at a time, sometimes the shipping is more than the cost of the item. There is always something I can add to the order, like cleaning patches, round balls, etc.

All of those already mentioned, and Midway USA, Graf & sons, RMC Sports Inc, I have had good luck with them. I also like Track of the Wolf. (and they like me... ::)

For factory made guns try Ron Shirks Shooters supplies. For ML parts, Muzzloader Builders Supply and TOW.

For building hardware I buy from TOW and Muzzleloader Builders Supply (MBS) in Ozone ARK.
MBS bought all of Don Eads' hardware and tooling when he went out of business a few years ago.
For those who don't know, Don produced some of the better (IMO) parts available.
Susie has expanded the number of items MBS carries now so if you want hardware from Sterling Silver inlays to 48 inch long ramrod drills she has it.
MBS gives good service at good prices.

Zonie, same here. I like TOW and MBS in Ozone, Ark. It puzzles me why it takes about a week to get from TOW when from Susie I get it in about 3 days. TOW's full size photos of parts are indispensable to me. I also especially like Tennessee Valley Manufacturing at Corinth, MS. Jack Garner can supply a lot of builder's supplies, and he has 40 years experience cutting stocks if you need a special stock cut. I'll post photos eventually where I used his stocks. Also got some nice blanks from Log Cabin Shop, will also post photos of those stocks in time. And barrels-I really like L.C. Rice barrels!

When Mountain State Muzzleloading went out of bussiness a couple of years ago Cains took over. They were Mountain State Manufacturing they made a lot of the stuff MSM sold. They took over the retail end now their site is!

Midsouth has good prices, but limited selection in what interests me in muzzloading gear (but for shooting gear in general & cartridge reloading they are great).

Track of the Wolf is a class outfit and has marvelous goodies. I guess they are my favorite.

G.Gedney Godwin (aka The Sutler of Mt. Misery) has the best assortment of F&I War and Rev. War items that I have stumbled across - and are also a first class outfit.

I've had good results with Log Cabin Shop and Mt.State Muzzleloading (Ausgespeilt as noted above :()

And, of course, Dixie - the Mother of all Black Powder related suppliers.

And then there's the little guys that make only one or two specialized items. Most of my favorite plunder came from such places.

Heck, I like 'em all and try to keep them all in business as best I can. My local sporting goods stores are pretty much worthless, yuppie & teeny-bopper clothing marts any more.

Stumpkiller,,, I couldn't agree with you more on your last post... :applause:
