The Fremont done by Armisport.
I had a Dixie SMR. Solid rifle made by mirocu in Japan wish I had kept itI have three factory produced muzzle loading firearms...Pedersoli Charleville .69 calibre, Navy Arms Enfield musketoon .58 calibre and a Dixie Southern Mountain rifle .50 calibre, left hand model. The rest are home made.
Ord -- If I used only 15 grains of powder in a .44 I'd have to check for squibs after every shot.
The SMR has a three digit serial number.I had a Dixie SMR. Solid rifle made by mirocu in Japan wish I had kept it
All the guns I shoot now are my own builds, but I did start with a TC 50 cal percussion. They are a good rifle for the money in my book. My SIL shoots a Lyman GP and I think it may be a notch above the TC.I’ve viewed threads where folks post pictures of custom guns such as Chambers, Kibler, Brooks, Martin, etc. Those are cool and I enjoy viewing them. However, I didn’t find or haven’t seen any recent threads with pictures of favorite production guns. Maybe there were and I missed them. Anyway, I thought I would start one.

I'm a big fan of my Traditions St. Louis Hawken. It was affordable, fun to assemble and shoots like a house of fire. An accurate muzzleloader for less than $600 seems rare but this one delivers.
