FPS with this load???

Have you ever tried verifying the results of those "supposition and assumptions" in the field? If my calculations tell me a ball will be 4 inches low at 100 yards and then I find that to be exactly the case when I shoot at i00 yards, what does that tell you?

your numbers are right on. i also have done my own tests on paper and in the field. i shoot a .311 rb and 30 grains of 3f for woodchuck hunting. shot 38 last fall from 10 yards to a little under 100 yards and many at the 50,60, 70 and 80 yard mark and the drops are right on. awesome load for chucks!
