I have mounted this rear sight on my T/C hawken. http://www.thegunworks.com/custprodgun.cfm?ProductID=906&do=detail&Cat2Option=yes
Those of you that have this sight, what front sight are you using? what sight height? I tried shooting at 50 yards and couldn't get on paper. Last year I shot the factory sights and could hit what I was aiming for consistently off hand, switched to this sight and could not hit the barn if I was standing in it from the bench.

What front sight are you using with the T/C tang sight? if not the factory sight, what sight/what height are you using?

I have the TC tang mounted peep that I believe you are posting about. I use it with the front sight that came on my TC 54 Hawken. Std TC front sight.

I have the tang mounted peep site. Not ladder. I use the fiber optic sight with that. I had the post sight via hawken I did not like it as much. I also like the partridge sights.

I mounted a TC "Hunter" peep sight in the existing rear hole in the tang and drilled/tapped a second hole in the tang for the other hole in the peep sight mount on my TC .54 Renegade. I used the original partridge front sight which I filed down.
