Double or even triple fencing keeps most critters out. Poison, cage traps, and powerful pellet rifle help.
We used to have a beagle, rabbits made that mistake before. They all didn't make it.They have a nest in my lawn.. I think there big enough now. Little things moving around under the grass.
I might come up with some kinda fence. Won't even consider poison. Don't wanna kill them unless I was gonna fry it. I have a couple of live traps in the shed, they might have to be called to duty.Double or even triple fencing keeps most critters out. Poison, cage traps, and powerful pellet rifle help.

Methinks the foxes have moved on. We haven't had this many bunnies around in years.
Whatever I come up with will be temporary, and easily moved. My dad was saying something about ocean state job lot for a cheap fence option
Hopefully youins didn't get any of that world record hail where your at Louis. We've got a full week of rain forecasted. So much for taking the boat out and going after some crappies. My little patch is coming along. Here's a picture of a pepper and my daughter's hand for scale.Summer time is here, as in hot.
What variety is that Bell Pepper? I tried the Aristotle this year and am sorely disappointed.Hopefully youins didn't get any of that world record hail where your at Louis. That one is a Red Knight. New to us.What variety is that Bell Pepper? I tried the Aristotle this year and am sorely disappointed.
Have a couple of purple beauties that are doing well too. Not quite as big, but already turning colors. Not bad for only 3 weeks. What variety is that Bell Pepper? I tried the Aristotle this year and am sorely disappointed.
I know you guys are well into your growing season, and already enjoying some of your produce, but I'm still in the early stages, and crops are yesterday's news, but I have some lunchbox peppers that will probably be snackable in about a week. Still waiting impatiently for the maters though. What variety is that Bell Pepper? I tried the Aristotle this year and am sorely disappointed.
The best cure that I’ve found is to buy a bottle of liquid calcium. Mix with water as direct in a hand spray bottle and spray the plants throughly, tops and leaf bottoms, about the time they start to bloom. I’ve been doing this 4-5 years and it has eliminated bottom end rot. Just one application does the trick and I’m still using the same 16oz bottle of it I originally bought. It goes a long way and back then it wasn’t at all expensive. No telling what it cost now.Looks like it's going to be a another hot and "wierd" gardening season. Usually about this time (well sometimes in June) I'm usually pulling up tomatoes .So far they have barely started producing and I planted early. I'm going to pour the water to them. I had been only watering lightly so Blossom End Rot possibly wouldn't set in. But I'd rather see spoiled tomatoes than no tomatoes .
May have to give that a try. I had been using egg shells but have not totally eliminated the rot.The best cure that I’ve found is to buy a bottle of liquid calcium. Hope it works out for you friend. Nothing worse than all the time, work and care you put in a garden and have a poor yield.Looks like it's going to be a another hot and "wierd" gardening season. Sounds like the same person has been assembling them. Hopefully the new one works out.Tiller woes set us back. Ol' Reliable Troy-Bilt Super Bronco died in the gearbox. $1300 bid to fix. Identical (now Craftsman) at Lowe's $999. Bought one. Week later, no reverse so return for another. Got home, gassed/oiled/started right up. No reverse again. Back-up cable very slack. Guessing Lowe's unpacking/setup person ain't reading paper directions. 40-mile round trip to return new one. Plans are NOT coming together.
