It appears to be slightly longer. The 12-50-66 has a thinner lug on it. What was the 1375 designated for?

I could be totally off base here; however, when I went back and looked at the pictures you posted showing the hammer positioning on the nipple, I couldn't help but notice your snail/drum is positioned further forward, in relationship to the stock and lock cutout, than it is on my gun, with either of my barrels on it. That might have something to do with your nipple not lining up just right. :idunno:

Yeah I was looking on Track of the Wolf site and they said something about barrel placement being the most common reason for misalignment. I took the barrel off and did a minor adjustment on the wood behind the tang and it did help with the alignment. I just hate to do too much before I confirm the problem. I think you have convinced me to do it. That's probably why the previous owner had an odd nipple in it. Plus they dry fired it and mushroomed the nipple. Thanks for your help and advice.

I think you are headed in the right direction. Hope you get it sorted out, and are busting caps soon. Dropped the short nipple in the mail this morning. Barry

I took a little more off and it looks much better. If I take any more off I will have to fill the screw holes and move the screws on the piece that holds the tang. I'm not ready to do that unless the caps won't work. But it looks like it is centered enough. Maybe I can try it tomorrow!!! This is the 12-50-66 nipple.

I did that on a nipple I bought that was for an Investarm. Being a greenhorn on this I wasn't sure if it was advisable. One thing was I didn't know if it would alter the fit of the #11 cap and the other was if it would affect the ignition of the cap. So I was kind of hesitant to use it.
