How do you prime?

FF straight from the main horn. I never use a priming horn. I fill the pan maybe 1/3 full and it goes off quick.

I use 3f main charge in my 54cal and prim from my main horn also with 3f

I use 3Fg from a little brass pan primer.

I too wipe the pan after each shot, pick the priming hole - shoving the pin in until I feel the back side of the barrel, swirling it around to open up a good flash channel, then prime using a small brass charger and 4f.

Unless I'm dove hunting and when they're coming in fast and heavy it's just a panic load, prime and shoot. :grin:
