ok before you say just pull it out :: this cork is on the wrong side of the neck, as in it got pushed thru, any ideas on how to remove it? heck and I dont even have a kid I can blame it on :haha: :haha: any thoughts would be appreciated
This question is tough to answer without a demonstration but I will give it a
shot. The only other piece of "equipment" you will need is a clean, cloth
napkin.
First, fold the napkin into a simple square (you might be able to perform this
trick with the napkin unfolded, but I've only done it folded)
Next, make a "cone" out of the napkin, using the center of the napkin as the
point of the cone. It doesn't have to be a perfect cone but has to be twisted
from the center.
Holding the empty wine bottle upside down, insert the twisted napkin into the
neck of the bottle, center first, until there is enough of the napkin in the
bottle to cover the cork (i.e. roughly the same length).
Slowly UNTWIST the napkin and gently shake the bottle to get the cork to sit
inside the folds of the napkin.
Slightly re-twist the napkin and begin to pull it out of the bottle. The cork
will be caught in the napkin and should come out of the bottle as you remove
the napkin.
I hope this explanation makes sense. Again, it is easier to see than explain
with only text. Good luck with your trick!
