Here I am with too darned many .50 cal rifles with a hankering for a bigger bore. Well, I dropped by a shop today and they have a Great Plains rifle that I can get for cheap. I guess I need to get off of my dead behind and sell some of this stuff to make the other one follow me home...

Yup, it's a problem. But the heartache of deciding which one to sell is enough to make a guy give up and buy something new anyway.

Oh, I know which ones will be leaving the nest and have no problems letting them go. I may break them into parts to eBay them.

I don't think I have a need for a 4 or 8 bore - although they are cool.

Porkchop,
Saw a new ebay technique, listing is there now....
"gun is complete but unshootable due to ajag and patch being stuck in the barrel"

do ya think maybe they unscrewed it from the rod?

not advocating going against their policy, but it does qualify as non shootable.

FYI

i recently sold a percussion pistol on e-bay sold it without the nipple which makes it un-fireable in that cond. i see b/p listings like that a lot you can sell as long as it will not fire in the condition you offer in. and if e-bay does pull your listing ,,they dont charge you for anything except your pictures. :winking:

Bob thats what my grandfather told me, can't seem to sell any of his either :shake:

While I tend to agree, the ones that are on the block were impusle buys that have no sentimental value. Dad's guns will go to my daughters with mine...
